Hi serquah, when you see the Master Password dialog, cancel it, and Firefox should display your startup page(s). Does that work?

This article describes how to remove the Master Password if you can access the Options page, but this will erase all the saved logins, so if you share this computer, I wouldn't do it: Reset your Primary Password if you've forgotten it.

If you inherited someone else's Firefox settings, you can create a fresh profile to create your own settings. If you share your computer, you can create personal shortcuts to start different profiles, but I can come back to how to do that later. Meanwhile:

If you can open pages in Firefox:

Inside Firefox, type or paste about:profiles in the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it.

Click the Create a New Profile button, then click Next. Assign a name like March2018, ignore the option to relocate the profile folder, and click the Finish button.

After creating the profile, scroll down to it and click the Set as default profile button below that profile, then scroll back up and click the Restart normally button. (There are some other buttons, but please ignore them.)

Firefox should exit and then start up using the new profile, which will just look brand new. You're in!

If Firefox doesn't let you open the about:profiles page:

Exit Firefox and start up in the Profile Manager. You can use either the Windows Run dialog (hold down the Windows key and tap R) or the Windows search box. Type or paste the following and press Enter to execute it:

firefox.exe -P

Click the Create Profile button, assign a name like March2018, and skip the option to relocate the profile folder. After creating the profile, select it and start Firefox in that profile.
