My version of Thunderbird is 52.7.0 (32-bit). It strips my imbedded photographs from my outgoing e-mails. Why?

It seems as though I spend a lot of time tinkering with T-bird trying to make it work. I'm about to give up on it.

what is the point of the image? it indicates to me your anti virus is not correctly configured. Or at least that is where I would start. but it is a browser window and not related to Thunderbird.

Are you sending HTML mails? there are setting in the address book for individual recipients, settings in options for global settings and holding shift while clicking write reverses your normal settings for Text Vs HTML emails.

Appmenu > options > Composition > general and click the advanced button. Set the send options to HTML or text + HTML Do not select send messages as plain text if possible.

The latest dehancement update apparently played hob with my settings. I found and fixed the ones the update had changed.
