Why did your previous "update" trash my registrations for Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional & Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 - can't even re-register because Adobe says I'm already registered, but still tells me to register every time I try to use them!

Is this problem when you sign into Adobe's website in Firefox?

If the problem is inside the Adobe applications themselves, I don't think Firefox is part of the communication between the applications and Adobe's servers. But just in case, you could change your default browser in your Windows settings to Internet Explorer and see whether that helps.
