Since Windows 10 did an update on my computer, I get repeated copies of emails until I go online and delete them from the server (valnet.net). Deleting on Thunderbird doesn't stop them from downloading again. This is very inconvenient.... How can I stop it?

empty the trash/junk/spam folder on the server. It is usually caused by a bad interaction with an email and and anti virus product.

SO deleting the offending mail, (which is usually in the SPAM folder), or disabling to anti virus so a full mail download can complete before it drops it's bundle will result in ongoing success usually.
