I can't set up sync. I have Firefox for Mac 89.0 on a MacBook and Firefox for Android 89.1.1 on a Samsung Galaxy. I have signed into my Firefox account on both. When I attempt to link the two to sync, I am given a QR Code on the Mac screen. I snap a picture of the QR Code using the Scan button on Firefox for Android, but I always get an error message on my phone stating "Did you use the system camera? You must pair from within a Firefox app". By using the scan button near the Firefox for Android address bar, I thought I was within the Firefox app. I don't understand what I'm supposed to do differently.

Hi

If you sign into your Firefox Account on the desktop copy of Firefox, then (without signing into the account first) go to sign into the account using the QR code, you should find that the Sync connects.

Failing this, you can sign into your account on the second device by email.
