In trying to install the 4.0 Upgrade, I get the message "The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have permission to access some of the items"; how do I give myself "permission" to make the installation?.

I just can't upgrade to the new Firefox 4.0 because I keep getting the message that I don't have "permission to access some of the items". How do I get THAT permission.

If you can't upgrade to Firefox 4.0 any other way, try downloading Firefox 4.0 from www.mozilla.com and then, before running the installer, drag the current Firefox.app from the Applications folder into another location, such as into a new "Firefox36" sub-folder that you can create.
