I have fox icon.have been using but last weekend I clicked icon and nothing opened. I can right click & see me sites but they dont open either??

I can click on the fox icon it changes color with the box around it but never open on the screen. I can right click and see my favorites but they do not open even if I right click and click open.

Can you start Firefox in Safe Mode to see if the problem is still there?

  • Go to Help > Restart with Add-ons disabled

Or if you can't start Firefox:

  • Windows: Hold the SHIFT key while double clicking the Firefox desktop icon
  • Mac: Hold the OPTION key while double clicking the Firefox icon on your Dock or in your Applications folder
  • Linux: Go to your Terminal and run /path/to/firefox/firefox -safe-mode
    • Default path for Firefox is /usr/lib/firefox

If the issue is not there whilst browsing in Safe Mode then the problem lies within one of your extensions. Enable your extensions one-by-one to pinpoint the exact add-on that is malfunctioning.
