When closing, firefox displays a message "Firefox now closing" - how to stop it from doing so?
When I close Firefox 30, the message box is briefly displayed that states: "Firefox is now closing...". Is there a way to stop it from happening?
Chosen solution
The developers are working on an issue with slow shutdown of Firefox, when the user is clearing data on shutdown; that message might be a stop gap to keep the user informed that Firefox is still closing and not to shutdown their PC immediately. Once this Bug is fixed that message may not appear any longer.

I hope its an add-on issue
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to Troubleshoot the issue and to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
Is it a Firefox massage, or something else?
Unfortunately, it's not an add-on - it briefly tells me that it is getting rid of cookies.
Yes, it is a Firefox message, it briefly tells me that it is getting rid of cookies
Could you provide the screenshot of that issue
Well, if you have Firefox clearing cookies . . . .
No, I cannot - it is very short, 1-2 seconds. I pretty much resigned to its existence... Thank you.
