SInce upgrading from 30.0 to 31.0, my Roboform2Go, operating from a flash drive, no longer displays a tool bar at the top. Roboform has had problems in Firefox since it went to 26.0 (or thereabouts), but Roboform would come back if I exited and restarted Firefox. That no longer works, and even exiting Firefox and closeding and reopening Roboform2Go doesn't work.

I'm using Windows 7 Professional

I had this problem with Roboform2go while using version 7.6.*.* something. Now after upgrading to version 7.9.8.5 and upgrading my firefox from 29.* something, I am still having the same problem. I also reformatted my USB drive and installed the newest version (7.9.8.5) and then reloaded my info to the drive. Still no joy.......:( . Hope some smart firefox developper knows the answer. I know this is volunteer work for you guys, so I will simply thank you now for any effort you can put on this and I will thank you in advance for your hard work in finding a solution.  :)

I found a solution - of sorts. I Googled to find a download site (Hippo... something) that had Firefox 26.0, and downloaded that. I installed it over 3.1, and restored access to Roboform, plus another extension (ForecastFox 2.2.2) that I had lost use of.

I also had to fuss around to move the tabs bar down to just over the browser window instead at the top, as follows:

type about:config in the address bar and press Enter find "browser.tabs.onTop" (its alphabetical) and double-click it to switch it from true to false to move the tabs below the toolbars

Everything seems to be working OK, with Roboform, weather and tabs restored. I'll save the Firefox26 update file in case I need to downgrad again in the future. Hopefully, Firefox 32 will fix all the things that were broken with earlier updates.

I got the decimal point in the wrong place. I installed 26.0 over 31.0, not 3.1.

Michael, thank you very much for this idea. I will give it a try.

I also had nothing but problems with RoboForm after a FF upgrade. I finally solved the problem, I got rid of RoboForm. I am now using LastPass3. It is much, MUCH, better than Roboform. Try it--you'll like it. Also is free & not limited to 10 free entries.

Daherbst, this is not an original thought. Having worked in customer service, it is pretty typical for a customer or user's rant to end with, "So yeah your product 'ABC' sucks, so i'm gonna go to your main competitor's product 'XYZ' . So there!" Well, I guarantee that when you have a problem with LastPass3, that you will rant away and tell them that you are going to use that great product Roboform. Hope you feel better, but i bet you wake up mad everyday.

Firefox 29 has been working fine for me with Roboform. Everything is fully functional.
