Every time I try to open Firefox, it immediately crashes. I tried starting in Safe Mode, but it crashes there, as well. When I try Mozilla's fix to select the "Go" menu and click on Library with the "option/alt" key depressed, there is no "Library" listed under go. I have allowed crash reports to be sent to Mozilla since yesterday, but have heard nothing back from Mozilla.

Chosen solution

Yes, I tried starting Foxfire 31.0 in safe mode and also resetting it, but neither worked. I then downloaded another copy of the "Foxfire 31.0.DMG" file and tried to install it. The install queried me if I wanted to replace my newer version (not sure why 31.0 replacing 31.0 is replacing a new version, but that's what it said). I selected yes and replaced it. When I restarted Foxfire, all was fine, except some of the basic Firefox settings went back to defaults, though my cookies, bookmarks, etc. were all maintained. Everything seems to be working fine at this point.

Firefox crashes even in safe mode?

The crash reports are sent to a main frame for the program engineers. They seldom contact anyone. Please follow these instruction;

If you can't get Firefox to open, you will have to do this the hard way. Open the file browser / explorer on your computer. Depending on your system, you need to find this folder; C:\Users\=<User Name>=\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox Once you are there, look for a folder called Crash Reports. Inside are two folders; submitted and pending. Go into each. Copy the last 5 File Names in each folder. Remember, the last 5 include the date and time created. Post all the information in the reply box below.

After you have done the above, try to start your Computer in safe mode. Then try to start Firefox.

Note that the OP is using a Mac and not Windows.

In Mac OS X v10.7 and later, the ~/Library folder is a hidden folder.

You can try a check for corrupted and duplicate fonts and other font issues:
