Why do I have to click on two separate items to "go back" to previous page? page
I use a multi-button mouse as supplied on most Lenovo ThinkPads. Up til now, when I needed to go back one page I needed to only right click on my ultranav mouse pad. But since I upgraded to this new "Streamlined " version of Firefox, when I right click, up pops a menu with "back" as one of the choices. So then I have to navigate the cursor over to that menu and click on "back".
So you see, now I must perform 3 actions to go back instead of just one as it used to be. That is some kind of streamlining!!!

Please check if all your plugins are up-to-date. To do this, go to the Mozilla Plugin Check site.
Once you're there, the site will check if all your plugins have the latest versions. If you see plugins in the list that have a yellow Update button or a red Update now button, please update these immediately.
To do so, please click each red or yellow button. Then you should see a site that allows you to download the latest version. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation and follow the steps mentioned in the installation procedure.
Try left clicking !
We do not even know what if any plugins you use.
- Where are you right clicking ?
- What and how did you customise this ?
- Have you had the handedness of the track pad reversed recently ?
If you right click anything normally a context menu is displayed so if you right click within the background area of a Firefox webpage one context menu appears if a "tab" is right clicked a different context menu appears.
If you right click on the back arrow at the end of the navigation bar, when it is active, a listing dropdown appears. If you LEFT click it goes back to the previous item.
