Downgrade to 31.0 and turn off updates it still tries to update to 32.0
I need to use version 31.0 as our selenium scripts don't work with 32.0. Can't upgrade selenium as other dependencies cause issues. I have turned off updates in the options menu
Issue: i downgrade to 31.0 and all is ok then firefox refuses to open and i get a message saying i need to reboot to complete an upgrade.
I believe that because a later version exists on my c drive, firefix tries to install it every time i downgrade to 31.0
I read that the previously downloaded update should appear in c:\user\<user>\appdata\local\mozilla So i went in there and found C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\updates and deleted the folder but it doesn't make any difference.
The only other folder i have in that mozilla folder is profiles
Please can someone tell me how to get rid of the old update so i can stay on 31.0 without having to restart my pc then downgrade to 31.0 every day?

You should be getting a update to 33.0 and not 32.0.3 as 33.0 was Released today.
If you really need to be using 31.0 is meantime then perhaps use the 31.0ESR as it is a Extended Support Release based on 31.0 Release. It only gets security and allowed stability bug fixes. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/
The 31.2.0esr was released when 33.0 was.
