how to forward a received e_mail complete with attachments?
Received an e_mail with 6 attachments, need to forward it complete Slow way is detach all 6 to desktop, then re-attach in the forwarded msg (re-inventing the wheel) Is there a way to forward it as received (i.e. complete)?
Chosen solution
I just click the Forward button and address the email. Maybe that is too easy.
You could right click the message and select Forward if you want to add another step.

Thanks !! Very odd, though - I tried that before posting and the "attachments" box was empty (hence the question). Having tried it again, the "attachments" box has the attachments. As I said, very odd! Ok, solved now - if I can replicate this glitch I'll re--post.
I thought that you must have had an issue because it is a pretty basic function. The usual question is how to do this without the attachments going along. If you do have further problems I would restart Thunderbird with add ons disabled to see if an add on is causing you problems. You can do that from the Help menu.
Thanks again!
