Star Not Highlighted Blue When on a Webpage That I've Bookmarked
Dear Firefox Users~
I've got a small problem. Each time I visit a webpage that I've already bookmarked, the bookmark star doesn't turn blue. Can anyone tell me why this is happening?
Thanks, Zacchaeus

This issue can be caused by an extension or theme that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
Grab the uninstaller from here: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows Uninstall Flash Player | Mac Then reinstall the latest version.

Gentlemen~
Thanks so much for helping me out here. Even though your solutions were not exactly what was wrong, they helped me critically think through what could be the issue(s).
As it turns out, the reason why my Bookmark Star was not turning blue when visiting a website that I've previously bookmarked, is because the URL to that site(s) has changed or is being forwarded. For example, http://basecamp.com redirects to https://basecamp.com and this is why the Bookmark Star wasn't highlighted.
It was a very simple fix; thanks a lot and keep on coding.
Warmly, Zacchaeus
