Every time, like last update, I have to go to IE, to download new update, WHY?
The last update on April 4, and on other but not all updates, they wiipe out/disable all my access to Firefox. So the only way I can download the new update is go to IE and then to Firefox website to download. There is no need to totally disable this access. May I suggest that your software team fix this problem. Better software can fix everything. Thank you.

There have been many problems with the latest version of Firefox, so updates have been temporary disabled until the problems are resolved. Even if you have an outdated version of Firefox, it will still report it as the latest version.

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to install for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
