upgraded from 31.6 to v 38, could not send e-mails. checked firewall settings, checked mail server settings, all was good. Did a restore to previous restore point (win 7) now Thunderbird will not run. I need to download v31.6 and re-install Where can I get v31.6? Thanks

If using Windows OS: click on win32 folder. select language eg: en-GB = English British download the exe file.

However, as you do not have any Thunderbird on computer, you may consider downloading the current version from here:

Sometimes after an upgrade, your firewall/Antivirus software may think it has to use the older version and blocks access. In which case you need to close Thunderbird then make sure Thunderbird is set to 'allow' in Anti-Virus / Firewall. then reopen Thunderbird.
