e-mail write opens with Collected Addresses showing even tho I close/send with Personal Address Book chosen

How do I choose to have e-mail "write" open with Personal Address Book, not Collected Addresses. I have tried sending myself an e-mail with Personal Address Book chosen - When I open it, I get Collected Addresses again.
