In address book I want to display only the addresses in my personal address book not All address books. Any way how? Thunderbird 38.2.0

The previous version of Thunderbird did not do this. I seldom use the collected addresses and they are a nuisance to see each time I address an email.

Thunderbird defaults to showing the 'All Addresses' pseudo-book, and at present there is no way to change this ,...yet!

Nor is there any feature to exclude addresses from specific address books from appearing as suggestions when typing in the address field of a message.

Both of these suggestions have previously been mentioned as desired features in new versions.

You can pre-select the name from a specific book before you call up the 'write' window, but it doesn't really make things easier.

Sorry. No <strike>soup</strike> help for you.
