I use a local web development stack on my Mac (http://serverpress.com) and it needs the string for my browser in order to launch it when required.

I can use any other browser except FirefoxDeveloperEdition, THE one I want to use. 'Safari', 'Firefox', 'Opera' work fine, but 'FirefoxDeveloperEdition' or 'firefox-dev' will not launch FF Dev.

Help!

The Firefox developer or Aurora is just one of the four main Firefox development channels.

Release < Beta < Aurora aka firefox developer < Nightly.

A version starts on Nightly and moves/merges to next channel as a version is Released.

That kinda confirms what I'm finding. I think that string I need is 'firefox' and that since I have the regular FF on there as well, it cannot work.

Oh well.

Thanks

No, I removed the regular FF and still no luck.

You didn't use a Zip-build of Firefox Developer Edition, did you?

Note that the OP is on Mac, so things might be different on that platform.

No, I used the downloadable version, for OSX.

Any idea where else I might be able to find this information? I am missing using FF Dev :)
