While I was customizing Firefox, one of my Navigation Toolbar buttons (for an add-on) accidentally got moved to the Bookmarks toolbar; since then, it hasn't been visble. I went into Customizing Mode, but the button didn't show up. I move the Bookmarks Toolbar links to a temporary folder, but there still wasn't any sign of the button. Before I uninstall and reinstall the addon, is there some way to force a hidden button to appear swo that I can move it to the navigation Toolbar where it belongs. I would appreciate any comments, especially those suggest a solution. (You mightask why I haven't just gone ahead with the uninstall/r3einstall; well, I'm hoping for a general answer that woul work for both add-on buttons and standard toolbar buttons [where there's no add-on to work with.) Many thanks in advance.

Chosen solution

Hi, clicking on Restore Defaults while in Customize mode, should restore system buttons - and maybe your add-on, but if the add-on button still doesn't appear, uninstall/reinstall seems the easiest solution!

More - Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.
