I have used UK university login to gain access to electronic resources. Now my university account has been expired and I wanted to stop rediction from the journal webpages to the login page. I followed instructions (for example here: http://smallbusiness.chron.com/turn-off-redirection-another-website-26972.html ) and ticked the "Warn me when websites try to redirect or load the page." and "Use SSL 2.0," "Use SSL 3.0," . However, I still keep being redirected and I have not been able to find other possibly relevant instructions how to stop this happening. I have no special extensions or add ons related to the login.

Found out it was due to Zotero storing the proxy... not obvious though!
