I had attempted to save websites on my task bar but was only able to do so by saving them within the Firefox browser. I accessed them by right-clicking the Firefox icon on the task bar. Suddenly today, they are gone and I no longer can save chosen websites anywhere on my task bar, including within the Firefox browser. What caused this? Thank you

Are you talking about the Firefox taskbar or the computers?

If Firefox, save the links to the Bookmarks Toolbar.

I am using Windows 10. I assume it is the computer task bar. It is at the bottom of my screen where my Firefox icon is located along with icons for other apps.

Ahh. Open the web page. Mouse to the icon in the address box and hold down the left button. Now move the icon to the Firefox icon and drop it in.

You don't use the right mouse button to drag and drop. Nevertheless, even using the left button does not work. It used to, but not anymore. That is why I posted. I had used that method successfully before, and the website icons were available by right clicking the Foxfire icon - until today. Now they are gone. Something has changed. It wouldn't surprise me if it was a change made by Windows 10. They want people to use their apps, which are full of advertising, and can be pinned to the task bar. Thanks for your interest.

Oops. I guess I was in my left mind. I corrected that post.
