When I check about firefox it says that I have the latest version which is 47.0.1 in win 8.1 64 bit, yet I see that version 48.0.2 is actually the latest version Why is firefox telling me that I have the latest version when I have 47.0.1?

Actually I should have said that 48.0.2 is available not 47.0.2. Sorry!

Sometimes, updates are sent out by district, not all at once. And sometimes the updater doesn't work properly.
