Suggest you stop anti-virus software from scanning any thunderbird folders on startup. Turn off the email Real Time Protection in McAfee.

I am working with McAfee to get more information to fix a crash issue related to this. If you still have McAfee installed, and you crashed (not just script timed out) we could really use your help.

The script error returns if I switch McAfee on again. Without McAfee it seems functionaing Okay.
