BBC iPlayer doesn't load directly from my Firefox menu bar
I cannot seem to load bookmarked BBC iplayer sites directly from my bookmark menu which is frustrating. I have go to the root/home page of BBC iplayer and access the specifc site e.g. BBC One from there.
This way works fine.
Can anyone advise how I can resolve this issue otherwise I will need to move over to the Microsoft Edge browser.

So nobody can help?
Looks like I'll be moving to MS Edge then...
Hi, sorry about the delay. BBC1 works for me from a bookmark - http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcone
So delete ALL references to the BBC, as shown under the heading 'How do I remove a single website from my history?' in this article - Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox, then try the site (not from an old bookmark) again. Note: It may take a few minutes to complete the deletion.
If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!
- UPDATE***
Not resolved. The bookmark still freezes after I try to load after a 2nd attempt.
Any other ideas please?
I've also noticed that if I go into:
Open menu > Options > Advanced > Select Network
and clear/delete the Cached Web Content to zero MB of web space and then reload the book mark, I am able to view the video stream. But obviously I don't want to keep on having to do this action everytime the iPlayer bookmark freezes!

Would anybody like to post another reply to this issue please?
Modified
OK. I've decided to quit Firefox in favour of Microsoft Edge as my browser of choice since no one can provide an adequate solution to my problem.
Disappointing.
I'm truly sorry that nobody has been able to solve your problem. There is no point in bookmarking any BBC channel unless you actually live in the UK, as the BBC won't allow you to watch online if you live outside the UK, as goes for most of the contributors here. But don't give up on the best browser just yet; somebody just might come to your rescue after all ......
