Under one email account, there appears to be two Trash Bins. One is listed under the Inbox folder which works fine, however at the bottom is another Trash Bin which does nothing. This is not needed & cannot find option to delete it. Can you please advise how I get rid of it? Do I have to delete the whole account & reinstall it to remove the extra Trash Bin, so I just end up with one?

The one under Inbox seems wrong to me. I have 11 or so accounts of various types with a variety of providers and not one of them wants its Trash inside its Inbox.

Tools|Account Settings will have a place where you can set the location of the Trash folder to be used.

The usual way to delete a folder is to select it, right-click and select Delete from the pop-up menu.
