I am moving from wins 7 to windows 10... the article really does not cover that

it talks about east transfer which is no more, moving from windows to mac, and gmail..

I wrote the article when windows 7 was new. It is dated now and the easy transfer wizard simply does not exist in Windows 10.

To quote the part of the article that applies to you.

Manually moving files If you are moving from one operating system to another (such as changing from Windows to Mac), you must manually move your profile from one computer to the next. You'll need to first back up your profile using the instructions on the Profiles page, then follow the directions on that page for "Restoring to a different location."
