I have been cutting and pasting MS Word outline documents into Thunderbird Write emails for years (CTRL-V) and retaining the outline format. Today, when I attempted to do this with V 52, the outline format was lost. Is this intentional? It is not what I want.

I am attaching two emails, one last week using Thunderbird pre the 52 update and one that shows the same Word doc paste (with one week's changes) post 52.

I don't know if the change is intentional or accidental, but I rather doubt the developers will devote much attention to 'fixing' it, as the practice of copying form Word to TB, except for without formatting, has long been discouraged. Unless there is a huge reaction from users.

If you wish to downgrade to TB 45, it is available here. Disable auto-updates.

Thanks, sfhowes. I don't do a lot of this cutting & pasting from MS Word but I have liked it instead of attaching the doc. I'll wait awhile to see if there is a fix. Nice to know that TB 45 is available. Was that the last version before 52?
