Folders disappeared after trying to send reply, rec'd text deleted and message typed: TB says in state, can't because of seltection.

Deleted attempted send and messaged deleted too.

Delete the account, then re-create it.

Right-click your account in the normal folder view of Thunderbird and choose Settings.

Click the Account Actions button on the bottom left and select Remove Account.

Click the Account Actions button again and select Add Mail Account.

Double-check with your e-mail provider to make sure you use the correct e-mail servers and settings.
