How can I find these MBOX files I keep hearing about?
I have never used Thunderbird but need to move all emails from someone's Thunderbird account to Office365. I have found several free and paid tools that look like they will do the job but they all seem to require starting with MBOX files. I have searched the profile in %appdata% to no avail. I have installed importexportools in the addons and they only export files and folders to other formats. I don't want to buy the mbox-to-pst conversion program if I can't start with the MBOX file.
This client has dozens upon dozens of folders in Thunderbird and doing this manually will kill me because I can't figure out how to copy folders, just files, which means I will need to invest a couple hours typing if I can't find an MBOX file.

Look for files with an msf extension. Each of these is the index to an mbox file, which has the same name but no extension. So, Inbox is a mbox file and Inbox.msf is its index. You don't need the msf files but they are useful for identifying their partners.

I can't believe how difficult this was to find. I have been a geek for decades and still can't believe how difficult firefox can be to use. Thanks for saving my bacon today.
