Add-ons not syncing

I just downloaded and installed the Firefox Quantum Beta. It works amazing, but it doesn't seem to be syncing my add-ons between my desktop and my laptop, even though they both have the same version of Firefox. Is this not yet implemented in the beta?

Are those extensions available from Addons.Mozilla.Org?

Sync doesn't actually 'synchronize' the user's own extensions, it installs the extensions fresh from the AMO website server. If an extension isn't hosted at AMO it won't get sync'd, it needs to be installed from the original source manually..

In the past the user prefs and save data for extensions that is sync'd has been hit or miss. Hopefully with WebExtensions now that will become more uniform, as far as user prefs and data getting passed thru via Sync.
