I have a problem with Win8.1 and posted a question to the MS community for help. Using FireFox is not a problem EXCEPT when I try to respond back to someone who is trying to help me out....when I click on the REPLY link while I'm using FF, the screen goes dim or blank so that I cant' enter data. What I have to do, which is a pain in the arse because I don't like using it, is to open IE and then all is ok. Is there a problem with FF or do I have something set improperly??? Thanks

how do you "Turn On Info" in Mozilla Firefox?? I've looked but there is nothing showing those specific terms...I would turn it on as the info you sent appears to be more involved than I can handle(?) I'll give it a try, especially with the uninstall ff paragraph and get back 2U....

There is a known bug in Firefox since 55 that blocks us from replying to questions in the MS forum. Here is my bug report

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1397399

The gurus think it is a duplicate of this one and it is impacting other sites as well

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1379148

It should be fixed in the FF 57 release in a few days. Keeping everything crossed it is.

I’ll respond to PKshadow and the Goodwitch... all the data you’ve supplied is very good and I was able to do all that you suggested BUT, the problem is still there so I guess I’ll just wait for FF57 and see what happens.... when you suggested that I Turn On Info, and then when I questioned that you responded back with instructions under Options, it was very clear what you were asking, but I wish you would have responded the first time with : go under options for the Telemetry Transmission info I would have not spent so much time looking for the actual words, Turn on Info.... but in any case, thanks and I’ll wait as Goodwitch suggested for FF57 and see what will happen, because the bug is still there. Many thanks to you both.
