Had Firefox given us a sample of their "artwork" udpate...I wouldn't have been the only one rejecting it!

Yes, I do not like what Firefox did with its browser and I want out....WITHOUT RISKING MY DATA IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM. Hope to get some good suggestions on how to do this because someone said changing back to previous version or deleting it will affect our files. Sigh........

Hi, backup your profile by going to about:profiles and clicking on show location, copy the folder to the desktop, then install Firefox 52 ESR from here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/

Copy the backed up data into the new profile you will use for 52 ESR, and everything will be back to normal.

Firefox 52 ESR will be supported with security updates until May 2018.

Thanks again MkII, but since you've helped me clean out the screen, soiled by Firefox itself, I'll continue with the new one. Then if in the way something happens, I'll use your good info here which I'll keep handy.  :-) Adela
