How do I delete "selected cookies" in Quantum
I have no problems with most cookies, but periodically I need to clear the cookies for a particular website. I don't want to delete them all, as that would eliminate a bunch of username/password combos that I don't want to replicate. There used to be a way to bring up the cookies, and I could sort them so that I could delete all the ones for xyz (example: all the ones for familysearch.org). However, I can't find the place in Quantum to delete SELECTED cookies. Where is it?

Hi,
I believe you can delete cookies for a particular site by doing the following:
- Open the Firefox preferences.
- Click on "Privacy and security"
- Under the "history" section, you'll see a blue link that says "remove individual cookies". Click on that.
- Click on the name of the site whose cookies you want to remove, so that it is highlighted in blue.
- Choose "Remove selected".
Hope that helps!

You can inspect cookies and passwords and permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab via these steps:
- click the Control Center 'i' icon at the left end of the location/address bar
- click the arrow to expand the security message
- click "More Information" to open "Tools -> Page Info"
- click "Security" to inspect and modify cookies and passwords and inspect the certificate chain in a standalone window
- click "Permissions" to inspect and modify permissions
- click "View Cookies" in "Tools -> Page Info -> Security" to inspect the cookies for the domain in the currently selected tab
- click "View Saved Passwords" in "Tools -> Page Info -> Security" to inspect the passwords for the domain in the currently selected tab
- click "View Certificate" in "Tools -> Page Info -> Security" to inspect the certificate chain and check the issuer of the certificate
Thank you! I was searching for "selected" not "individual" and totally overlooked the part in the history section. I was looking for something in the cached section.
I no longer see Remove Individual Cookies option under History. I also want to delete selected cookies. Please direct me. Thx.
Hi iamlightnow
You need to use the Storage Inspector (Shift+F9) to remove individual cookies.
- "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Web Developer
- https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Tools/Storage_Inspector
In Firefox 60 you still have the old Cookie Manager that allows to delete individual cookies when you use "View Cookies" in "Tools -> Page Info -> Security". This will no longer be possible in Firefox 61+.
Thank u for the reply. This storage inspector stuff is a bit too much for us plain old simple computer users, but your telling me how to access cookies, at least for now, thru Tools, is very helpful. It is a change in FF I am not happy with.....
