Thunderbird times-out sending email with attachments.
Suddenly I can no longer send emails that have attachments. Doesn't matter which account I use, if there's an attachment it won't go. I have 35Mgbs up-load speed, so not an internet issue. Emails without attachments send without issue. I've made no changes to anything, so what's happened.

Do you have an anti virus that scans outgoing mail? Perhaps it is time to turn it off.

Yes, it turned out to be AVG that had suspended its software until a box had been ticked. Nevertheless, entirely arbitrary. Thanks you.
