Firefox hangs on Nvidia Gefore 10XX series card

more options

Firefox quantum hangs on the Nvidia Geforce 10XX series cards - tested on the 1030 and 1060 models, so it's probably a problem for the entire series of cards. The computer crashes for a while, and then we receive a nvidia screen driver error message. In some cases, the monitor turns off. The solution to the problem is to disable the option of using hardware acceleration. Could you take a closer look at the problem?

hi,

If I remember correct Nvidia drivers are closed source so people at firefox could not take a close look at the problem.

Please uncheck "use hardware accliration when available" to solve the problem until Nvidia releases a fix to the drivers.
