Hi, Cylance* at VirusTotal** shows Firefox as unsafe. Well, even so I kept on and installed it om my Windows PC. A long story short, my machine started to use CPU at its peak for a time, my PC started working in sluggish manner and turned off by itself after a while. I've got my machine back to life from a previous backup. To make sure Virustotal's result I went back on Linux to see and the result is the same.

PS - I'm on Linux now just to be safer.

So, must be a coincidence...anyhow, my machine is running fine again without FF and by your response it won't be on it anymore. Just on Linux.

I highly doubt FF is unsafe. If that was the case there would've been more to be had out there but that isn't the case here.

Every Firefox setup I tried in the last months has pretty much had Cylance claiming the file is unsafe when every other scanner is green. But I would not trust Cylance in this case as it's detecting used on site is different from the application. False Positives can happen and Cylance may just continue to be in error.
