Can I merge the emails from one account into my current account?

I had an email account with GO-Daddy but my domain was with Ipage. I could see no reason to pay a lot of dough to GoDaddy when my Ipage account gave me free email service. So I had the DNS changes to Ipage. Problem is I still have a lot of emails and folders on Godaddy that I'd like to keep and integrate with my Ipage sponsored email using Thunderbird. How can I do this?

Is the email address exactly the same? On goDaddy: Are you talking about pop or imap account? On lpage: Are you talking about pop or imap account?

If Godaddy is imap and still active - you are still paying for the account, then synchronise folders for offline use to get full copies downloaded, then in Offline mode, create folders in 'Local Folders' mail account and get copies of emails from imap folders into 'Local Folders' mail account. This means you would then have copies of emails stored in Thunderbird and not connected to the GoDaddy imap server.
