The 'recently added bookmark' list is a subprogram. Not an actual folder. Don't worry about it.

That is not possible. All the 'recent' list items are the result of a places database query.

Recently added bookmarks is a list with "sort=12".

place:folder=BOOKMARKS_MENU&folder=UNFILED_BOOKMARKS&folder=TOOLBAR&queryType=1&sort=12&maxResults=10&excludeQueries=1

The Recently Bookmarked list is annoying clutter. I have no use for it. Also it's a security risk; if someone gets on your computer they may have access to financial and business links. Why is it necessary to maintain this list after you close the program? That's what bookmarks are for.

It is a dynamically created list like I wrote above. You can use code in userChrome.css to hide some of these smart folder lists.

Are your bookmarks are a security risk? To avoid anyone using a bookmark to access sensitive data, log out of sites when you are finished with them, and don't create bookmarks directly to sensitive documents that sites might let you access without logging in.

Of course, if someone is already on your computer, your bookmarks may be the least of your worries.

This does not answer the question.

This does not answer the question. If you do not have an answer do not place a post.
