firefox blocking use of Facebook only - only began 2 days ago - Page isn't redirecting properly error
Evening - after 2 days of trying I admit defeat I have been happily using Facebook and Firefox and last night attempting to access my Facebook account shows the following
The page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.
I have removed cookies - restored the laptop to an earlier version - wiped history - removed my newest programmes - downloaded Facebook container and still unable to access my account.
I would live without it, but it is my business and therefore I am running it on my phone which has no access issues and this is definitely not idea.
Any assistance (i have basic IT skills but not programme level) would be really appreciated Thanks Becky

Make sure you are not blocking content.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
One issue that seems more common lately is Firefox's Tracking Protection feature. When it is blocking content in a page, a shield icon will appear at the left end of the address bar next to the padlock icon. This article has more info on managing this feature: Tracking Protection {web link}
Thank you for taking the time to reply - unfortunately it didn't make any difference. It is only on Facebook and only since the new GDPR rules changed. Regards
This is the link that appears in the toolbar

Many thanks
If you use a bookmark then navigate to the web page starting with the main page or the sign in page in case there is a problem with this bookmark.
