How do I see my current downloads?
How can I see what downloads are in progress and their progress?
Before the big change in 57 I had a really good extension that showed all downloads in progress in a separate tab but this extension isn't compatible anymore and I can't find a replacement.
Do you know of any extensions to show downloads in a separate tab?

Please go to Customize and then mouse up to the download icon and click unhide.
You can also use this : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/download-via-idm/
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
wait, I just found it. it's the arrow pointing downward
Firefox 57+ auto-hides the Downloads button on the Navigation Toolbar by default. The Download button should appear on the Navigation Toolbar once you open the Customize window. If you do not see the Download icon then click the Restore Defaults button to reset the layout in case you previously have moved this button. Once you see the Download button in customize mode then left-click this button to see the current auto-hide state and toggle its setting.
Pkshadow does the extension you linked to allow downloads in progress to be seen as a tab?
Note that you can open about:downloads in a tab to see the downloads. This page is used in Private Browsing mode by default instead of the Downloads folder in the Library when you use the keyboard shortcut or "Tools -> Downloads".

I do not know. You will have to explore the homepage from the URL. It used to be integrated with Firefox but since 57 permissions have changed, I use iGetter and have it monitor the clipboard and find what I want and right click and copy link location. A little info here as that is where I use it most : https://bitport.io/integrations-plugins-tips
