Unable to add bookmarks to specific folders
The "bookmark this page" option only shows 3 folders in the drop down menu that I can ad to. I have tried to set things back to default settings but it didn't fix this problem. It is taking two steps to add a new bookmark to a specific folder. I am having to add it to "other" and then drag it to the bookmark folder I would like it to be in. Thank you.

If you do not see all folders when you click "Choose..." then it is possible that folders are collapsed and that you need to expand folders to see other folders that it contains. You can look for a faint arrow or twisty at the far left and click this icon to expand (open) the folder and show its content.

On the page you want to bookmark, do a right-click in an empty area of the page. At the top of the menu, press the Star. Hot key; <Control> (Mac=<Command>) D.
Or, Press the bookmarks Star on the toolbar.
This will place a bookmark in the Unsorted or Other Bookmarks Folder. To edit or move that bookmark, press the Star again.
A window will come up with the name of the page and its web address. You can edit these entries.
Next, select what bookmarks folder you want this bookmark in. If you do not see that folder, go to the far right of the Folder line, and press the down arrow. You can also create a new folder.

Thanks for the replies. That's a lot to do. lol. Saving it into "other" and dragging it is easier. It's not a blue screen or a hanging issue but I just thought I'd let FF know that there's a little problem with bookmarks in the latest version. :)

Thank you! That works just fine. :)
This should be considered a bug in the latest release of FF. Nothing changed on the computer but after allowing the latest update, the way the bookmark function operates has changed. Why do programmers think it is progress to change processes or at least the user interface to it for no benefit except change for changes sake? Please leave what is working and has worked for years alone and work on other things.
