Disabling autoplay no longer works in Firefox 63.0

In FF 62.0.3 (and earlier) setting media.autoplay.enabled to false prevented videos from autoplay. In addition the autoplay was enabled for all subsequent videos in the same tab (on YouTube for example).

So I could open 10 videos in diferent tabs (which I often did) and none of them started playing. But when I played one video, the next one would load and start playing automatically and so on in given tab.

Now in FF 63.0 autoplay stopped working at all. A lot of other autoplay options appeared in about:config, but none combination of them seems to do the trick.

I know I can disable autoplay using addon like Disable HTML5 Autoplay or YouTube Stop AutoPlay Next, but those doesn't bring the same funcionality described above. They stop autoplay completely.

Does anybody have any idea how to make Firefox working as it used to?

Tak si odpovím sám, nově ve FF 63 je v about:config potřeba, kromě media.autoplay.enabled=false, změnit media.autoplay.default na hodnotu 1.

Firefox 63 přidal nastavení automatického přehrávání přímo do Možnosti > Soukromí a zabezpečení > Oprávnění. Je tam volba Při pokusu o automatické přehrání médií se zvukem.... Viz https://www.mozilla.cz/zpravicky/firefox-zatoci-s-otravnymi-automaticky-prehravanymi-videi/.

Taková volba tam není - viz. screen z FF 63.

Já ve FF 63 předvolbu media.autoplay.enabled vůbec nemám. Ta druhá to autopřehrávání opravdu blokuje.

Aha, mám obě. Ale media.autoplay.enabled možná zůstala z předchozí verze FF, protože ujsem jí měl nastavenou na jinou než defaultní hodnotu.

Pardon, používám betu a nightly a do releasu se to zřejmě nakonec včas nedostalo...
