Sites like https://1337x.to use some sneaky way to show pop ups. How can I get rid of these pop ups perhaps through and add on. Can this be build into Firefox in future releases?

Are you using the built-in blocker or an add-on?

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a good ad / pop-up blocker.
