How do I fix websites appearing blank after resizing my Firefox window?

more options

I sometimes browse with Firefox on my Galaxy Tab A (10.1-inch, 2019, Android 9.0), which has a feature where you can scale apps down to appear in a small, resizeable window. I usually scale my Firefox window to cover half the screen, and have an app or two on the other half. However, doing this sometimes causes all websites to appear completely blank, only fixable by restarting my tablet, and there's always a good chance this issue happens again.

I've looked around the FAQs and tried their solutions to no avail, and I'm not really sure what to do next.

tl;dr (not sure if i'm supposed to put this but here ya go): resizing Firefox into a smaller window on Galaxy Tab A causes websites to appear blank.

I think I know the feature you mean...I think I have found it on my Android 8 device.

When I do it, the half sized page does still display. You may wish to open the Android Settings app, selection Applications, find Firefox and clear the cache (not data!).

Hi

I had not heard of that feature. What happens when you refresh the page?

Refreshing does not help, the page still appears blank.
