UI changes in the new mobile version

1. All my most visited sites are gone from the mobile homepage in the new version. Can I turn them back on somehow? I don't want to have to manually add and maintain a dozen "top sites". I don't even remember what they all were. I liked how the old mobile version (and current desktop version) automatically add new sites I visit often to the homepage.

2. Even though I've changed the settings to put the toolbar at the top, the tabs and plus button still appear at the bottom. Can I move them to the top as well? It's a bit annoying that what practically used to be a double tap now involves moving my thumb from the top of the screen all the way to the bottom. I realize they'd be closer if I put the toolbar at the bottom instead, but having it there makes it feel like I'm holding the phone upside down.

3. Incidentally, the "avoid support scams" warning panel on this site keeps coming back even though I've closed it several times. And uBlock Origin doesn't seem to work on this site (probably whitelisted?), so I can't block the panel to get rid of it.

Hi

Thank you for your questions and feedback. I am just a volunteer contributor, but I will do my best to help.

You will need to add top sites back manually. I appreciate this is a pain, but I had to do it as well and it gave me a chance to have a tidy up and trying some different top sites. I also added some sites directly as shortcuts from the Android home screen.

Glad to hear that you have the toolbar where you want it, but yesm the new gab button is not currently moveable. This may be looked at in a future update.

You are right in saying that some Mozilla sites are not impacted by add-ons. Given a recent increase in tech support scams we are keen that people are reminded, but we are also mindful that this message is something that we need to review.

I hope this helps.
