Hi

When I try to log in to online banking, I usually have to enter an ID, password, then some memorable information. Since some point in the last 3 weeks, Firefox won't proceed past the page with memorable information. It takes me back to the first page where ID is entered, as I've been automatically redirected there. So, logging in is not possible. Initially I thought that this was a Mac issue and not a Firefox issue, because it was actually affecting both my browsers, Firefox and Safari. However, after rebooting my wireless connection, the issue seems to be resolved on Safari (although that program is an old version). I tried clearing the cookies and the cache, then reopening Firefox afresh. The problem persisted.

Version of Firefox is 78.1.0esr (64-bit). Have already tried updating to the latest version.

Regards Matt

Chosen solution

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Great, that does indeed resolve the problem. Thanks. Can I find out how I am blocking content?
