Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

This did not solve anything, still won't display highlights and browser quits and have to restart searches

I am an older gentleman with little computer knowledge and it doesn't make sense to have a program that doesn't offer customer support

I took Firefox completely out of my computer(uninstalled and re-installed it). this still didn't resolve the problem. I had a full diagnostic done and no malware or viruses were detected
