I'm running TB 78.12.0 and trying to follow this solution: For Windows, open Tools/Options/Advanced/General/Config. editor, or click the 3-bar icon at the upper right, Options/Options/Advanced/General/Config. editor, right-click the preference layout.css.devPixelsPerPx, Modify, and enter a value of 1.20 or 1.25 or 1.5 or 2.0...

This may or may not be immediately applicable to TB 78, but I haven't been able to find the indicated places. I'm not at all tech literate. To be usable by me, all answers would have to include express statements that more advanced users can avoid. Where is "Tools/Options/Advanced/General/Config. editor" in TB 78? Where is "Options/Options/Advanced/General/Config. editor" in TB 78?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Chosen solution

For TB 78, click the 3-bar icon, Options, then under General/Indexing, find Config. editor (or use the search at the top of the Options tab). Also, under Tools on the Menu Bar, Options (press Alt if the Menu Bar is hidden).

Thank you, sfhowes, that worked just fine. I do have to wonder, though, that for a universal zoom one has to dive into the bowels of TB rather than some way closer to the surface.

There is an add-on that has options for zooming, which is a bit more accessible:

Thank you but that one adjustment will last probably forever. Take care.
