I closed Firefox to install the new update, and didn't realize I had 2 Firefox windows open. I need to restore my previous session of open tabs, and when I tried to restore, it restored the second window. Is it possible to find my other previous session? I'm sure I've done it before, but have worked for a while, and have not been able to. Thank you Cindy Holt

Hi Cindy, could you immediately check any of these:

  • "3-bar" menu button > History > Recently Closed Windows
  • "Library" toolbar button > History > Recently Closed Windows
  • (menu bar) History > Recently Closed Windows

By default, Firefox's session history file retains the last three closed windows, but they cycle out quickly if you get popups, so please don't delay.

Any luck?

Thanks for the tips, but I'm afraid I've lost it. I'll keep trying, I know that I once worked for a while, and got it back all of a sudden, and I'm not sure what I did. It serves me right for "saving" things to read or deal with later...

Thank you so much for responding!! Cindy
